<description>Prehaps a Border Collie would be a good mix with the Scotties and other barn yard characters. I wonder if they could be trained to herd Scotties? I have had a dickens of a time with Bonnie 'escaping' the house recently and dashing wildly around the neighborhood in joyous squirrel chasing. We leave a drag line on her collar but she seems to know just how close to let us get to her before dashing off again. Across the street, under parked cars, through the bushes. If I had a most excellent herding dog, maybe he'd bring her to heel.
